Founded in 1969, Milestone is a nonprofit, community-based human services organization dedicated to empowering people to pursue meaningful lives defined by wellness, independence, choice and belonging. Through person-centered clinical, residential and community-based programs, Milestone supports people in building on their strengths, achieving their goals and participating fully in their communities.
Our services include person-centered mental health and wellness coaching, temporary housing, service coordination, social rehabilitation, peer support and the Chain of Hope Drop-In Center.
Milestone also provides person-centered supports for people with intellectual disabilities and autism, including in-home services and homes throughout the community, opportunities for community engagement, employment supports and community living options that foster self-determination, meaningful participation and connection.
Our goal is to support people in pursuing lives of their choosing by providing person-centered resources, opportunities, and support that promote growth, independence and community belonging.
As a commitment to excellence, Milestone has earned accreditation from CARF International (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) for meeting international standards of quality and a commitment to delivering safe and effective services in a variety of settings.
