T.R.A.M.P. Out Medication Errors Workshop: Parts 1 & 2

This comprehensive workshop combines TRAMP 1 and TRAMP 2 to provide a complete overview of medication administration and safety. Participants will learn both foundational and advanced concepts, including the three principles, the five parts of the medication cycle, and the five rights using the T.R.A.M.P. framework. The training emphasizes the importance of communication, documentation, and identifying factors that contribute to medication errors. In addition, participants will explore medication side effects, connections between medications and medical diagnoses, the Fatal Five conditions, tardive dyskinesia, and black box warnings. Through interactive scenarios, group activities, and discussion, this workshop equips participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to promote safe medication practices and improve outcomes for individuals receiving care.
