THIS IS A TWO-PART SERIES; YOU CAN REGISTER FOR ONE OR BOTH SESSIONS.

Emotional Intelligence (EI), also known as Emotional Quotient (EQ) refers to the ability to recognize, understand, manage, and influence one’s own emotions, as well as understand the emotions of others.  EI is rooted in the following four foundational building blocks:  self-awareness, self-control, other-awareness (social), and relationship management.

In this engaging and interactive workshop, participants will explore the foundational concepts of EI and discover how they influence self-awareness and the quality of relationships, both personally and professionally.  Through real-world examples, engaging activities, and group discussions, participants will gain practical tools and strategies for enhancing their EI.

Additionally, the Introduction to EI workshop will explore examples of empowerment concepts – helping participants understand how to leverage their EI to foster growth, resilience, and positive connections.  Whether you’re looking to improve your EI leadership, personal development, or better teamwork, this workshop will provide you with valuable insights and actionable skills to elevate your emotional and relational competence.

Ken Clowes is a certified Personal Empowerment facilitator for Butler County Community College and Center Assistant for the college’s Community Initiatives department where he coordinates the educational “Hope is Dope” addiction recovery program.
