WE HOLD MILESTONE DEAR TO OUR HEARTS

Anna and her husband Bill feel forever connected to Milestone Centers. Over the course of nearly six years, their daughter Allison received life-changing behavioral health support from Milestone. In fact, Anna and Bill were so moved that they made a generous $10,000 donation to the agency.

“We fought long and hard to find the right help for Allison,” Anna explained. “Milestone’s dedicated staff helped her learn how to exist in this world.”

For more than half her life Allison has struggled with mental health challenges. Anna said that her daughter had been in and out of Western Psychiatric Hospital many times and even ended contact with her family. Then, they were referred to Milestone Centers.

Allison begin her five-and-a-half year stay at Milestone’s Franklin behavioral health group home and that’s when things began to change.

“Allison and her roommate bonded right off the bat,” Anna said. “Everything was taken care of. After about a year at Franklin, Allison asked to see us. Milestone helped repair our family relationship.”

Allison’s progress was so remarkable that she has moved onto an assisted living facility, where she is thriving. Anna proudly reported that her daughter is a volunteer in the activities department.

“We are beyond grateful,” said Anna. “Without Milestone, we don’t know what would have happened.”

Likewise, Milestone is beyond grateful for Anna and Bill’s support.
