This presentation focuses on augmentative and alternative communication methods for autistic individuals. In this course, professionals will learn about various communication methods and the impact communication supports have for autistic people and their quality of life.
Courtney Johnson is active in disability advocacy and runs a website to compile resources for autistic people and their families. She currently serves on the Tennessee Council on Developmental Disabilities and Tennessee Technology Access Program’s Statewide Advisory Council.
