Habilitative Group – Services
If you are concerned with an individual's level of appropriate social interaction, the caring professionals of Milestone Habilitative Group offer services and supports that are outcome-based, measurable, and consumer-focused. Milestone enhances social skills and functional integration with the greater community by providing social outings, participation with community groups, interpersonal skills counseling, sensory motor development, and job skills support.
One-to-one skill and goal-based assistance to accomplish life needs such as shopping, banking, medical appointments, laundry, meal preparation, self-help/care, safety and socialization.
Group-oriented skill and goal-based assistance within the community that mainly focuses on community integration, enhancement of social skills and opportunities to interact with peers and others of the general public.
Supervision and support provided to individuals living at home so that the caregiver/family member can have temporary relief of the constant care that is given to an individual. Respite can be provided on a 24-hour or 15- minute session basis. Respite may take place either in the individual’s home or in the home of staff.
Supervision and minimal assistance provided at home or in the community that is focused solely on the health and safety of an individual when there is not a need to work on skill-related goals.
The Habilitative Group can provide independent, objective assessments in a variety of areas to include psychological, functional skills, environmental, and residential & vocational situational assessments.
