At Milestone HCQU Northwest, we offer training on a variety of subjects, in a variety of formats. Our training focuses on physical health, behavioral health, safety, and more general topics such as team building, leadership, and assertiveness. Our goal is to help support staff, family members, and individuals get the information they need to help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities live happy, healthy lives.

Our courses are free-of-charge, approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services, Office of Developmental Programs, and come in a variety of formats, including on-site instructor-led, instructor-led live webinar, home-study, and on-demand webinar. We plan to offer interactive online trainings in the near future, as well. Trainings must be attended in their entirety to receive credit. We cannot give partial credit for trainings.

To enroll in our trainings, you must first have an account in the Milestone HCQU Northwest Training Portal. If you do not have an account, it’s fast and easy to sign up! Just click here.

If you already have an account on the Milestone HCQU West Training Center, please email HCQUNW@MilestonePA.org so we can help you setup an account with HCQU Northwest.

Weekly Webinars

We know how difficult it can be to find time to fit in all the training you need, especially these days, which is why we are offering a new webinar every week.

These one-hour webinars will be presented every Thursday, with the exception of Thanksgiving and Christmas week, at 7:30am, 11:00am and 2:00pm.

Home Study Trainings and On-Demand Webinars

At Milestone HCQU Northwest, we are always on the lookout for new ways to help you get the information you need to help you better serve and support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. To that end, we are now providing short home-study and on-demand webinar trainings on our most popular topics.

On-Demand Webinars

Our on-demand webinars are edited recordings of previous webinars. If handouts were available for the original training, they are included for your reference.  They can also be downloaded for offline viewing and/or printing.  You must watch the video in its entirety before moving on to the quiz.
